The Mint Mani

Can we first start off this post with an appreciation to girls? We handle birth, pregnancy and even painting the nails on the hand you write with. It's a tricky business, especially the latter. At least brighter shades make it easier, as you can't see that little smudge you made on your little finger.

Barry M's Mint Green has been on my nails constantly for the past few Springs, but it's only now that I'm acknowledging it's full glory. It doesn't chip, has an amazing formula and is an absolutely gorgeous colour. When it comes to nails, I'm usually a burgandy kinda girl, but this shade would make me pack in the berry hues altogether.

I like matching my nails with the season and it's only recently that this nail polish has become appropriate. I love how it's still light at 6pm, how we can start taking off just a few of those layers and also, more natural light-time to take photos. Yay! Spring also sees the arrival of Easter, but I've been eating Mini Eggs for the past few months. I have half-eaten packs of them everywhere - in the car, my bedside table and the fridge. They're definitely my guilty pleasure!
