I think I must be the only girl who loves getting into her scruffs and doing a bit of decorating. I love it when you walk into the house and just smell paint, then your eye catches on all of the new decoration bits every time you walk in the room. So, that's what I've been doing for the past few days! Spending my time in the kitchen, adding all the finishing touches to our newly decorated room.
Has anyone told you how difficult it is to decorate with kittens in the house? Meenie ended up jumping on the wallpaper pasting table, getting paste all over her paws and trotting around the kitchen. Never mind trying to escape through the garage door and into the garden. I hate keeping her in the house but I can't let her out until she's been spayed and micro-chipped. I don't want all of the boy kittens coming around to our house!
If you couldn't tell, the new colour scheme is browns and cream. My mum and I actually ended up having a huge argument in B&Q because she wanted to do it a similar theme to my bedroom- Parisian Vintage. No can do. Anyway, we made a compromise and agreed to have it still cream, but with more brown in too. Panic over. We got the majority of the bits from stores like B&M, B&Q and Dunelm Mill. My favourite pieces has to be the heart shaped home quotes. Every time we re-decorate, it makes me so excited to decorate my future house exactly the way I like it
it looks lovely, I love the tins :) x

You are right, it is all in the details. That is what a home, or in this case a kitchen, makes personal. I love the quotes, especially sing like no one is listening. It is relatable since I always tend to do that haha :)
