One of my favourite things in the world has to be going shopping with a full purse, knowing you can spend it all on whatever you want. I asked for mainly money for my birthday so I could go shopping and buy as much high-end makeup as I could. My mum always says to me, "God help your future husband - you have such expensive taste!" haha, so, here we go!
First stop, Selfridges. This was where I bought my new YSL Touche Eclat highlighter pen that I've been wanting to try for so long. My mum has also been dying to give this a go so it's kind of a double-whammy. It is so ridicuously expensive but so worth it at the same time. Customer service was lovely and I've been loving this so far! I also bought this Benefit set where customer service was not so good. Is there anything worse than pushy sales staff? I felt like we were being pressured into buying something, but this little set includes a full sized Porefessional aswell as mini versions of "That Gal" and "It's Potent!" eye cream.
Whilst I had a money off voucher for WHSmith, I treated myself to Alexa Chung's book, It. I've always loved Alexa and she's one of my ultimate style icons so I thought that her book would be a nice little pick-me-up. Now for the most exciting bit of this haul - we went to Space NK. It's literally the tiniest boutique makeup shop in the corner of St Anne's Square, Manchester and I could quite easily live there. I ended up buying NARS' Laguna bronzer and I also got a mini-sized version of Jurlique's Rosewater Balancing Mist on my loyalty card for my birthday. I also have the Brow Wiz from Anastasia Beverly Hills on the way but I was way too excited about this lot to wait for it to arrive!
