Is there really anything more satisfying than a new pair of eyelashes? I can hear all of you girls (and maybe some of you men) screaming yes, so that's what I treated myself to. I stuck to my beloved Eylure lashes - cheap, does the job and you can practically get them from anywhere. Tescos, Superdrug, Boots, anywhere. I picked up the Nadine lashes from the Girls Aloud range as they looked quite natural and not too over the top.

EYLURE NADINE LASHES - £5.49

These are strip lashes so you only need to glue the band and stick it to your lash line. I've found that the best way to do this is with a pair of good tweezers when the glue has become tacky - simply hold the lashes in the tweezers and glue the band. Then, get as close to the lash line as you can and glue the middle section in. Finally, stick in the inner and outer corner and leave to dry... Simple! I also always add a thin line of black liner so it gives me a bit more leeway to get the lashes in without seeing skin.

The lashes come with a small tube of the classic Eylure glue. It's similar to DUO glue but I always like to keep a small tube of the Eylure on in my purse if the end start to peel. However, I didn't need to do this because they really stuck to my lash line. As for comfortability, they're some of the best I've tried. Even though I had to give them a little trim to get them to fit my eye shape, I wore them for about 4 hours with no problems at all.
